Up to recently (2013) this cemetery was called Burkholder Cemetery by Letterkenny Army Depot. In addition, Ancestry.com has a record called "Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985" that lists individuals buried here as being buried in "Huber-Rohrer Burying Ground". Evidently this cemetery has been called various names over the years.

This cemetery is on land acquired in the 1960s by the United States Government for use as an ammunition depot. Today the acquisition is called Letterkenny Army Depot and is headquartered in Chambersburg, PA. Internment in the cemetery ceased at the time the land was acquired. Letterkenny Army Depot is responsible for the upkeep of this cemetery and seven other cemeteries on The Depot. Once a year, usually during the summer, The Depot provides a bus driven tour of all the cemeteries. Check local newspapers for dates and times.
