Coldwater Cemetery is located on private land off of Stones River Road. The cemetery is suffering from many years of neglect. It is very overgrown with heavy vegetation. It was once open to grazing cattle which caused damage to the tombstones. Almost all of the tombstones have fallen and are in need of resetting. Several tombstones are broken and need restoration. There are a few crumbling headstones that are in disrepair. Some graves are marked with field rocks or small grave markers without names. There is a perimeter fence surrounding the cemetery, but no gate at the entrance to keep out wandering livestock.
