This cemetery can be found in front of the barn of a large farm. I was shown it by one of the farm managers. The two little flat stones he said was put there by the previous owner Weaver Brooks who wanted to make sure the cemetery records here survived. A wooden post was layed across each little stone to keep cattle from trampling on them and also to keep the tractors from rolling over them. The two stones the one posted here and another one for Charity Davis Griffin born in SC 1797 and death date not known. Both stones are recent flat granite markers probably replacing stones that were broken. I did not see those in sight.
Dorothy Johnson in her book on Madison Co Cemeteries mentioned the location but said she was unable to visit this cemetery in about 1979. Dorothy also said the stones then were at the location of the barn. These stones were probably the original ones.

This replaces the Griffis Cemetery listed on this site which according to the tombstone has spelling and location issues

Sherry said the headstones were in a fire that destroyed them (they usually survive the fire but then a little later crumble to dust.
