Hillside Cemetery is located on the corner of Portsmouth Avenue and Cemetery Lane in Greenland, New Hampshire. On the north side along Portsmouth Avenue and the east side along Cemetery Lane there is a low stone wall. The other two side are bordered by a chain link fence.

There are no roads through the cemetery and as the name suggests, it is set on the side of a hill with the higher elevation being along Cemetery Lane.

The cemetery was established by members of the Congregational Church and was laid out in 1705. There are several family plots that are enclosed by stone and metal fencing.
