William Dayton Lee, a descendant of John Lee Sr., placed five memorial stones here in the early 1970s. Family members, including Tommie Lee, believe these individuals and other early Lees are actually buried in a large Lee cemetery located on Creek Bridge Road (Old Lee Cemetery). Compiled by Tommy Lee and George Thomas in October 2010.
