The land the cemetery is located on was first owned by the Langston Family. For that reason, it may be referred to as the Langston-Jones Family Cemetery. Benjamin Franklin Jones married Betty Langston, and this may have been land given to them by her father, Thomas Henry Langston. Both he and his wife, Louisa King Langston, are also buried here. A descendant of the Jones family is the current owner of the property.
Directions: From the north, head south on NC 11; cross the Pitt Co./Lenoir Co. line & continue 3.4 miles to Lafayette Rd (secondary Road 1722); turn right off of NC 11 onto Lafayette Rd. & go about one mile to stop sign at Cameron Langston Rd. (SR 1727); turn right off of Lafayette Rd. onto Cameron Langston Rd.; continue on Cameron Langston Rd. for approx. one mile to Race Track Rd. (SR 1723); continue on Race Track Rd. for .55 miles until you come to a farm path on the right; turn right onto the farm path & go to the old grain bins at the end of the path; the cemetery is located in the middle of the field, south of the grain bins
