Riverstone Cemetery (also known as Riverstone General Cemetery) is a historic 5.6-hectare cemetery located in the suburb of Angus within the Blacktown City Council area. Established in 1892 and officially opened for interments in 1894, it was originally dedicated to serve the growing rural community of Riverstone, the cemetery is characterized by its traditional monumental graves and stands of mature gum trees, reflecting the 19th-century cultural landscape. It serves as the final resting place for many of the region's early European settlers and holds local heritage significance for its archaeological features and the presence of Aboriginal surface artefacts. Managed by Blacktown City Council, the grounds are divided into denominational sections—including Anglican, Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Muslim—and recently expanded to include a modern columbarium and memorial garden for ash interments. While many historical records list the location as Riverstone, a 2020 suburb boundary change officially placed the cemetery within the new suburb of Angus.
