The consecration of the Russian/Military Cemetery on the dunes off La Grande Route des Sablons in 1850 meant that Methodists and Roman Catholics not being able to use that site. Accordingly La Croix Cemetery on Rue à Don was opened for use as a Strangers Cemetery in 1853. This came under the control of the Parish in 1952 and became a non-denominational burial ground. For information contact the Grouville Parish Hall.
