A small Victorian church which is rectangular in plan. A plaque on the outside wall acknowledges that it was built ‘Through the generosity of Mrs William Cernffydd Oakley of Plas Tan-y-bwlch, Maentwrog' in 1858. The east window depicts The Crucifixion and various bible scenes from Jesus's life as described in Acts and St Luke. The centre south nave window depicts the Angel Gabriel and The Virgin Mary with a dove of peace. The north nave window depicts, in one panel, Christ going forth to sow and in the other as the Good Shepherd.
Of note is the Williams Family Crypt containing the remains of David Williams Esq., MP for Merioneth 1868-69 and members of the Breese family including Edward Breese 1835-1881 whose father married Margaret Williams 1801-1879 and Dr. Robert Roberts 1821-1891 and his wife Jane nee Breese 1831-1880.
Inside the church is a plaque dedicated to the memory of Captain Osmond Trahairn Deudraeth Williams DSO killed at the battle of Loos in 1915. It is an interesting piece adorned with his father's personal coat of arms granted in 1909. Outside is a cross with an inscription indicating his burial in France.
