About these numbers These percentages indicate the number of Find a Grave memorials that have a grave photo or GPS coordinates. We don't know the total number of burials in a cemetery, so we cannot calculate a percentage of those with memorials, photos or GPS coordinates.

The first known survey of this cemetery was done by noted genealogist Dr. Allan E. Marble on September 14, 1966. Per his usual procedure, he did not give the cemetery a name but instead assigned it an identifying number. For this cemetery, the number was 14. He recorded the location as Centerlea. The correct spelling of this community name is Centrelea.

At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble's survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb. At that time, the volunteers named it "Armstrong Cemetery" but, in the Rootsweb cemetery index, they listed the name simply as "Armstrong". They recorded the location as Centerlea, which is incorrectly spelled. It should be Centrelea.

Dr. Marble transcribed 5 headstones containing 9 inscriptions. The oldest identifiable stone is from 1869. This is an inactive cemetery with the last burials occurring in 1935. At the time of his survey, Dr. Marble noted the condition of the cemetery as good.

DIRECTIONS: This cemetery is located east of Civic #3737 on the north side of Highway 201.
