The church was originally part of the lands of White's Castle. The site was granted to the church on 25 October 1828, by Sir Robert Langrishe. There is an early deed for a lease between Robert Langrishe and Simon Vashon to Simon's sister Hester Susannah Vashon dated 1748.

The earliest memorial in this Protestant cemetery is from 1827. All of the memorials face east except for numbers 14, 15, and 16 which face west. This cemetery is 100% accounted for, according to the available headstones.

The church was de-consecrated in 1996 and became the home of Bruno and Jacqueline Tosi. The building is now The Glass Triangle, and J & B Art Glass Studio. Please see the map for directions.
