About these numbers These percentages indicate the number of Find a Grave memorials that have a grave photo or GPS coordinates. We don't know the total number of burials in a cemetery, so we cannot calculate a percentage of those with memorials, photos or GPS coordinates.

Pinnie (Piney)Grove Colored Cemetery, recorded in Seminole County documents as Section 34, Township 19 S, Range 29 E.
"In Markham, go east on Longwood-Markham Highway 1/4 mile, lies on the south side of the highway."

This would put it in the area of the current New Island Lake Burial League, on the State Lands side. Small, broken, unreadable markers have been found on the woodline of New Island, and depressions are visible in the woods. County Historical documents indicate that there may have been 3 small cemeteries conjoined in this spot.

The map location is approximate.
