North Lemmon Cemetery
Petrel, Adams County, North Dakota, USA
This cemetery was first named Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and later Immaculate Conception. The 1917 Adams County Atlas shows a church next to the cemetery. As a result of the 1918 flu, Protestants were also buried here, so the name was changed to North Lemmon.
The church was served by Father John Frei Priest of St. Mary's Church in Lemmon, SD, and later by the Priest of Holy Trinity in Hettinger, ND.
