Kilmacowen Burial Ground is situated in Bayview in County Sligo, about 2 miles north of Ballisodare and about 1.5 miles south of the Carrowmore cemetery.
The ruins of the church on the site date from the 13th century. On the north side of the churchyard there is a holy well named for St. Patrick, where a stone is said to bear the imprint of St. Patrick's knee.
