*A note from the Curators: No individual memorials are to be created for local military service monuments. This is a commemoration memorial site only.

This monument stands in Eugenia Park in Ontario Canada, and it was dedicated on July 21,1921 by the people of Eugenia in memory of her soldiers died in the Great War. It is visible when you pull into the parking lot for the Eugenia Falls Conservation Area at he end of Pellesier Street.

These words are inscribed on the west side: They died as few men get the chance to die, Fighting to save a world's morality, They died the noblest death a man may die, Fighting for God and Right and Liberty, and such a death is Immortality.

On a space near the base of the monument another list was added for members of the community who lost their lives in WWII. Inscribed with this list are the words, They offered their lives in the service of humanity
