Renshaw McGirr Way connects the towns of Wellington (66.5km from Baldry Cemetery) and Parkes (45.6km from Baldry Cemetery); the village of Yeoval is the only sizeable settlement on this road, 24.2km to the north-east of Baldry. If coming from the city of Dubbo in the north (93.2km from Baldry Cemetery), you would also pass through Yeoval. If coming from Sydney, you would approach from the city of Orange (90.8km from Baldry Cemetery) and, for the shortest route, proceed from there via Molong to Cumnock, and from Cumnock on Baldry Road (turn left when it terminates at Renshaw McGirr Way).
The burial ground is quite large and well fenced, with most of the burials clustered nearer to the gate end of the area, in the Anglican Section. A small Uniting (Wesleyan/Methodist) section of half a dozen graves is located near the back fence. In the rear left corner of the burial ground is a significant, yet dilapidated family monument which bears a cenotaph inscription dedicated to a World War One soldier, killed in action in France. Between the family monument and the Uniting section is a lone grave covered with the remains of a collapsed wooden fence; in December 2021, no grave marker appeared to remain amongst the fallen palings.
