Known as the "Rangiriri Maori Wars and Early Settlers Cemetery".

Established in 1863 after a battle between the Maori and Europeans. The Rangiriri Anglican Maori Church yard became a cemetery for the fallen from both sides in this battle. The cemetery remained active until the end of 1909 when it was closed to further burials.
