This is not Newton-Cole-Jones Cemetery.

Newton Cemetery is a very old, abandoned cemetery located on the Eckerty Doolittle Mills Road near C.R. 111. It is between Bethany Church Road and West Fork Road up a high hill.

There is no road leading the the cemetery and it is difficult to find. It is on a high hill and one must walk half-mile uphill to access the cemetery

Most of the gravestones are gone and at least half the burials are from common knowledge, newspaper articles or family history.

The last cemetery walk-through was performed in 1994 by Louie and Diane Mitchell, compiled information published the same year by the Crawford County Historical and Genealogical Society.
