To mark the location of the Brewer Family Cemetery, a single memorial marker was placed there by Newton Brewer Collinson (1888-1969). The memorial marker records the following information:

"Burial Ground of the Brewer Family. This land consisting of 1549 acres was granted to John Brewer, his heirs and assigns, Nov. 16, 1667 by Cecilius Calvert, Second Lord Baltimore."

The cemetery is about 52 feet by 63 feet. Family history indicates at least ten Brewer family members are buried at this site. Headstones for Brewer family members may have been here in the past but they are no longer in evidence. This land has historically been called, "Larkington," or "Larkinton."
