This cemetery is located off Route 505, left off of Williams Road, on the old Jacob Stayton farm. It is overgrown, small trees, sunken graves and over half the stones had to be unearthed. There were 2 limestone markers and many unmarked graves. Copied Nov. 1976; Reference, Cemetery Inscriptions of Brown County, Ohio, Book 1, page 63, by Linda H. Wilson (c) 1977; used with permission of the author.

The cemetery is about 2 miles northwest of Higginsport, located in Lewis Township, Brown County, Ohio, and is # 13276 (Stayton Family Cemetery) in "Ohio Cemeteries 1803-2003", compiled by the Ohio Genealogical Society.
