This large family cemetery is located in the wooded area north of Shelby Road. It is surrounded by a very well built iron/steel fence. The fence and cemetery are well maintained. The gate is in the east side. At the north end there is another different fence surrounding two of the Humphreys' graves. There is no entrance to this section.

There is a nice road leading to the cemetery if you do not want to walk through the woods from the Madison Waste Station. It goes off to the right from the driveway of 4415 Shelby Road and is driveable with care.

As of 9/2/2023, a large dead oak tree with extremely heavy branches overhangs much of the cemetery, and when (not if) the branches fall, significant damage to the cemetery and metal fence is likely. Use care when visiting and watch for falling limbs.
