All Saints in the Pallant (Church of England), located in the West Pallant, once had a burial ground of its own, created in 1783 on the north side of the church. That graveyard was closed to new burials circa 1880. The church itself was deconsecrated in the 1950s and is now commercial space; the lych-gate has disappeared. In 1956, the names on the extant gravestones and headstones were recorded, though some were indecipherable; the parish burial registers also still exist. Around 1964, the tombs and gravestones were removed and destroyed; the gravesites of the All Saints in the Pallant parishioners buried here 1783-1880, now unmarked, lie under a car park. (Information received from the Church Buildings Officer, office of the diocese of Chichester, November 2019.)
