Eastern Road Cemetary or Old Geraldton Cemetery was the second cemetery established in Geraldton in 1871. A third cemetery opened in 1930 due to over-crowding at the older two cemeteries, which lead to the Eastern Road Cemetery being left neglected and over-grow with plants and weeds. The cemetery was eventually closed in 1932. The site fell into disrepair and was used for illegal dumping of rubble. Eventially the cemetery was covered over and housing was built on the site.

The old cemetery is bounded by the Eastern Road, Victoria Street and George Road.
