Around 1997 the Miller family had a split rail fence installed around the cemetery; the fence was built out of yellow locust wood. As of Aug 2020, the fence is still there but has deteriorated considerably.

The cemetery is located next to an old barn on private property that is owned by the residents at 51 Israel Road in Candler, NC. The property owner, who clears and cleans the cemetery every fall, asks that those that wish to visit the cemetery contact him first so he will know you are there.
