Hidden in the quiet woods of a Baltimore County park, this historic site was once the property of Capt. William Bond and his family during most of the 18th century. Over the years it has seen many locally famous owners including Robert Oliver, David Keener, Gen. George Cadwalader, Alexander Brown, and Harry C Weiskittel. The site is registered with the Maryland Historical Trust as Cassandor Hamilton 18BA623. It is named after the only currently identified marker for Cassandra Hamilton, the daughter of William Bond and once property owner. Inquiries can be sent to the Nature Center c/o Daniel Dean, research chair for the Marshy Point Nature Center Council. Rev. 12/2020
