The Methodist Cemetery is on Highway #1, Weymouth across the highway from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and down a hill to low ground. There is no sign. Many of its gravestones are broken and fallen on the ground.
The Methodist Church which once stood beside it burned in 1909 and its replacement was built on Victoria Street, Weymouth. The Methodist Church became part of the United Church of Canada in 1925. In 1950, a new cemetery, Bethel Cemetery of the United Church opened on the New Road in Weymouth North.
