The old cemetery is beside the ruins of a Catholic chapel c. 1750 that incorporates the fabric of a medieval church c. 1500. The cemetery has various cut stone markers c. 1750 - pre 1903 displaying high quality craftsmanship. The cemetery and chapel ruins are surrounded by a wall and access is through a field adjacent to the road (L1028). The field is private property and permission should be sought from the local landowner. To reach the cemetery, take the road from Callan to Windgap and turn right at Coolaghflags crossroads, direction Mullinahone. The cemetery is about 500 metres along this road (L1028).
