Penuel Welsh Baptist Chapel was built in 1838 in the Simple Round-Headed style with a porch entry into the gable-end and tall windows. It was later enlarged to seat 700 worshippers. It once became a musical instruments workshop with a Grade II listed building status, the cemetery however remains accessible to members of the public & has its own entrance to the graves. Some parts of its cemetery are unfortunately overrun by foilage & many of the headstones have fallen into a state of disrepair & sadly many are now indecipherable. It was however a popular place of worship & many of its devoted members are laid to rest in the cemetery grounds, with graves tightly laid adjacent to each other.
