Entrance via Stötteritzer Landstraße (next to the nursery) or via Zaucheblick (parking available).
The western section of this cemetery is the third one to have been established in Holzhausen. After the second cemetery—founded in 1628—had become too small, a new burial ground was laid out in 1876 on the opposite side of the intersection.
This cemetery, too, eventually became too small, and the church administration applied for an expansion. The municipality rejected the request for a denominational expansion in 1955; instead, a municipal cemetery was established immediately adjacent to the site. This section of the cemetery is now managed by the City of Leipzig.
