The Shaw Cemetery was moved from Lambs Creek, Pennsylvania , due to the building of the Tioga and Hammond Lakes Dam in the early 1970s by the Corps of Engineers, to Oakwood Cemetery in Mansfield, Pennsylvania.

*The Wellsboro Gazette - September 12, 1968 - page 3 - 9 Cemeteries to Be Relocated In Vicinity Reservoir Project
Nine cemeteries will be involved in the Tioga-Hammond Reservoir Project. Before construction can be completed on the project, the relocation of the bodies and monuments or markers of 8 cemeteries and a portion of another must be accomplished.
The Shaw Cemetery, about 1 ½ miles north of Mansfield, on Rt 15 and located on property owned by Mrs. Hill, contains 6 marked grave sites.
Extensive probing will be conducted at all cemeteries at the time of relocation to locate any unmarked or unidentified graves.
