This small family cemetery is the resting place of J. P. Kite and his wife Elma. There are no other burials evident here. The fence that was around the graves has fallen down or rusted away; apparently there was once a nice iron fence around it as there are pieces remaining.

The gravestones have been knocked over by cattle, as the site is in the middle of a pasture.

The site is on a hill behind the Graves Mill Farm main house, built by J. P. Kite, to the left of Rt. 662 heading toward Graves Mill. Graves Mill Farm is now part of the Rapidan River Ranch, which is on private property.
