According to "Grave Markers of Duval County, Florida, 1808-1916," compiled by Lucy Ames Edwards in 1955, "This cemetery may be reached from Jacksonville by going out Atlantic Boulevard (State Road 10) to the Fulton Road. Turn left on Fulton Road and go two miles to the end of the paved road. Turn right on the Fort Caroline - Fulton Road and go five miles to Fulton. In Fulton turn right. The grave are among trees, close to the St. John's River."
