Directions to Taylor-Harris Cemetery Site
At Nolan WV, turn right and cross bridge into Kentucky (Pike County). Immediately turn left on State Highway 292W and go about one mile to the first house, (red brick,) on the right. Upon pulling into grass driveway just past the house driveway, mountain to the left is where the site is located. After going through some brush, an old trail is visible along the mountain base. Travel up the mountain along switchback paths, toward the ridge, and the remnants of an old white board wooden fence can be seen surrounding two adjoining plots, roughly 40x60 feet, containing the graves for Taylor, Harris, and Stevenson. Beyond these sites, in a meadow-like area, are two more sites containing among others, gravesites with the names of Vanhoose, Blevens and Dillon
The site can also be reached traveling about ten miles north on State Route 292W from Williamson, WVA, to the bridge area at Nolan, WVA. Video of the location can be found on Youtube Hillbilly files legends & Locations named Quest for Lucile
