Live Oak Cemetery is a small historic African American burial ground located in the woods directly northwest of Melrose Methodist Cemetery (Upper I). The site served as the Black section associated with the Melrose Methodist congregation during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The cemetery is situated approximately 85 feet northwest of the northwest corner of Melrose Methodist Cemetery, behind the Melrose Volunteer Fire Department, accessible only by walking into the wooded area. The site has no signage, fencing, or maintained pathways.

Only seven visible graves remain identifiable today, though survey notes indicate there may be additional unmarked or lost burials throughout the surrounding woods.
