Add PhotosJames Redfearn Sr, Isaac's father, was the original owner of this land situated in southeastern Randolph County on the Flat Branch of Brush Creek, near the present day town of Coleridge. In 1768 this land was in Orange County. In 1770 it was part of Gilford County then finally Rendolph County, NC in 1779. Isaac obtained the NC land grant for the property about 1778.
