Hill Cemetery
Buffalo, Dallas County, Missouri, USA
About 4 miles West of Long Lane, MO. off 32 Hwy. turn left on JJ Hwy. Proceed 3 miles, cemetery is on the left side of the road before crossing Duesenberry Creek.
Family legend is that Dorcas Hill, the daughter of Alex & Lucinda Hill, was a frail, sickly child and thinking she wouldn't live to grow up, she picked the spot to be buried on her father's farm which became the Hill Cemetery. She outlived all her brothers and sisters, most of whom are buried here.
