The adjacent property also once had a log cabin home which was the family homestead, but it was torn down decades ago after the property sold. Jacob Boston Williams and his wife are buried in the family cemetery there along with much of his extended family, their children, and their children's children. Jacob Boston Williams was the family patriarch and a physician in Shannon County during the mid to late 1800s.
