Holly Grove Cemetery is located in Monroe County GA on State Highway 18 between Forsyth and near the junction of 18 and Hwy 87. It has been recently cleaned and easily seen from the road as of March 2005. Coming from state route 87 from Macon take a left from state route 18 go about 3 or 4 miles and the cemetery is on the left side of the road going toward Forsyth GA.

The Holly Grove Baptist Church was established about 1828. It was a large white lapsiding church painted inside and out. It was used as a school house, teaching grades 1-8.
