Permission from Range Control is required to visit the cemeteries on the Fort Hood Reservation. Friendship Cemetery can be visited once a year on the Sunday before Memorial Day. Family members and friends are encouraged to spend the day paying their respects and tending the gravesites. A special guide must be assigned to access this cemetery located in the impact area.
