The Groves Cemetery is located on CR 4 about 7 miles northeast of Lampasas,

Texas. The Groves Cemetery was deeded to Lampasas County in November 1908 by C.A. and Elizabeth Groves. The first burial was Eugene R. Groves who died August 23, 1904. But the oldest death date in the cemetery belongs to Malinda Groves who died April 17, 1876. Malinda was originally buried near the Groves' house. The cemetery is fenced and maintained.
