A survey in 1992 by Fred Kraeg as listed on the website of the Dodge/Jefferson Counties Genealogical Society shows lot descriptions with two numerals. The first number refers to the cemetery section and the second gives the row. There are 4 sections with the lower numbered rows closer to the public street and the higher numbers up the hill. So, 4-1 is in section 4 and near the iron fence along the road while 2-20 is further south near the top of the hill.

There are many Civil War veterans buried here and at least two others are noted for their service in the War of 1812. The first death recorded in the entries keyed in by Inez Hoeye for the local genealogy society was Lovina Wilbur 1820-1845.
