Oak Hill is closed in the winter.
There is what looks like a driveway left/north of rhododendrons which curves left/north and divides. The left-hand fork runs along the south side of the cemetery and becomes East Street; north a couple blocks at East Street intersection with Lincoln Avenue, one must turn right/east to get to entrance further up hill.
The right-hand fork used to be an up-hill alternate two-track into cemetery, but is permanently blocked by an iron swing-arm gate. This is a good thing; one would not want to try it. I've supplied off-road vehicle to kind, brave, strong driver, but will NOT drive in any of Oak Hill myself; and no other visitor has ever been around when we've gone.
There are very few current burials in Oak Hill as those go into Willow Dale or one of the religious cemeteries.
The main entrance to Oak Hill Cemetery is on Lincoln Avenue, up hill north of East Main Street, and has no identifying name. Trail to left is ping-pong-ball-sized gravel that is very rough with many wash-outs and leads high into cemetery around the area of mausoleum, and branches into other one-lane, grassy, vehicle-accessible pathways; to right is a lower, grassy two-track into more central portions of cemetery...subject to large mud puddles, all within cemetery. The two primitive roads connect back in the westernmost area of cemetery, but have no other exit beside this same entrance.
All vehicle passages in Oak Hill are one-lane only, with no arrows/signs for specific direction.
