The cemetery property consists of three parts, the first two are jointly owned by Saint John's Lutheran and Ridge Valley UCC Churches.
The first section is the old cemetery next to St. John's, on the left as you face the St. John's Church. This is the oldest section and, as you can imagine, many of the names on the tombstones were in German and now most of the stones are illegible. There are Revolutionary War and Civil War graves there (marked by flags) and Church records indicate that there are 125 infants buried in this section.
The second section is known also as the Hetrick Cemetery, and also contains many very old tombstones. This cemetery is about 1100 feet South on Allentown Road, past the one-way bridge over Ridge Valley Creek. Caution is advised when travelling down Allentown Road, as it is very narrow and there is no available parking at the cemetery. These two sections are jointly owned by both churches.
The third section west of St. John's (on the right as you face the St. John's Church) is totally owned by St. John's. The first burial in this section took place in 1902.
