Gage Cemetery
Fenton Township, Genesee County, Michigan, USA
Despite its age, this is an active cemetery, with lots of empty spaces for more burials. The cemetery was established in 1856. It is owned and operated by Fenton Township.
There are many broken stones, as well as many old markers that have deteriorated making it impossible to read them for any transcription. In November, 1992, A. S. Curry restored the cemetery.
After many years of inactivity, a new section of Gage Cemetery was developed in 1999. Gage Cemetery is located on the east side of Fenton Road between Thompson and North Long Lake Roads. The new section is located immediately south of the old part of the cemetery, which was established in 1856.
