St. Ignatius, Centralia, Columbia Co., Pennsylvania

View of Main entrance of St. Ignatius, this lane is the center of cemetery with several laned sections on right side and continues back. The lane that runs outside in FRONT of cemetery fence to right goes down to an area that people should stay out of, esp. on foot. Minefire vapors active and subsidence backfilling on either side extending from cem side of this lane over to highway. It used to be DEP posted and marked by white, green flags less than 2 ft. high indicating unstable ground/underground gasline area but weather has ruined most if not all of them, caution should be used to stay away from this area by vehichle and foot. It does not affect the cemetery but ajoins it. The roadway back intersecting end of this lane leads to Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox cemetery and caution should still be used off any lanes in this section. GPS Logging road 2002 between Ashland and Centralia IS Rt. 61 detour highway through Byrnesville village (also bought out w/Centralia due to minefire 1980's). There are weight/height/length restrictions for heavy trucks only and is now the main roadway connecting through Centralia south to Ashland. f/g member #47533410
