Located on Connely Springs Rd., Lenoir, NC, Collier Memorial cemetery is across the street from the Collier Memorial Baptist Church. The cemetery is divided into three sections, which have no visible boundaries.New Section: Contains all flat markers which make the grounds easier to maintain.Middle Section: Standing markers, these are actually the remaining of all that belongs to the church.Old Section: This section does not belong to the church, however they do maintain it. Located quite a distance from the church, though still apparently part of the cemetery as a whole, this was actually once a common burial grounds for what was then Burke County.
