Wendell Cemetery
Wendell, Gooding County, Idaho, USA
The first burial at Wendell Cemetery was 4-year-old Thomas Frazier in 1909 (memorial #121521417), though the land for the cemetery was not approved by the village of Wendell until 1920. In 1927, trees were planted and the entrance road was graded. A $5 donation in 1931 provided the entrance sign for the cemetery, which still stands. Of interest, two Spanish American War veterans and eight Civil War veterans are buried there. The cemetery is still in use, and as of 2025, there are 481 veterans buried there.
