This rural cemetery is on wide open land with no front fence. There is a sign on metal posts as well as a Historical Marker. Some of the family plots are surrounded by curbing. The land is clean and there are trees and room for expansion. Burials are scattered about the property and the cemetery is well photographed as of 2018, and is receiving new interments.

From Hwy 6 South pass Reagan TX you will turn east (left) onto CR 251 proceed until you see CR 252 and turn onto it. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road.

The Waite cemetery was originally the Rogers Family plot (the oldest burial in the cemetery date back to July 30, 1865). The cemetery was expanded and the name changed to the Waite Cemetery around 1912.
