Wayside Cemetery
Also known as IOOF Cemetery, Morning Star Cemetery
Hamann Corner, Spokane County, Washington, USA
It is is located partially on Half Moon Prairie and partly on Wild Rose Prairie, about 10 miles north of the city of Spokane. You will find it on the north side of Half Moon Prairie Road ½ mile west of Hwy 395.
Originally established in 1896 by the Independent Order of Oddfellows (IOOF), it went unmaintained until 1997 when the Wayside Cemetery Association was formed. Now, it is a tidy cemetery with white gravel driveways and white fencing. Several farms border it on the Half Moon Prairie.
