There is only one legible marker, and it is for J. W. Dawson and his wife Susannah. There are several surrounding stones that have no markings. This cemetery is on woods property that was originally John W. Dawson's farm. The story goes that one of Dawson's sons murdered a romantic rival, and so Dawson had to sell the farm to pay for his son's lawyer. Arch Campbell Jr. bought the farm, and it is now owned by Campbell's descendants in the Minner family.

There is no fence or sign for this cemetery, it is out in the woods. This cemetery can be accessed on a dirt road through their private property. Find Emporer Lane, Sissonville, Kanawha County, West Virginia. Ask permission to access this cemetery.
